LGBT+ persons in Lithuania are one of the most discriminated groups in the entire European Union. The countrys governance lacks actions that would improve the situation of LGBT+ rights. In both cities and regions, LGBT+ rights are perceived differently, there are few efforts to protect them: due to passive adaptation in cities, due to fear of action, lack of contact with supportive persons, due to strongly expressed internalized homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. In Lithuania, there was a lack of inclusive, accessible and safe measures that would encourage individuals to be interested and act individually or in groups through associations. One of our goals, which we hope you will agree with, is raising awareness about the rights of LGBT+ people, enabling LGBT+ youth and other groups in society to take an active interest in human rights issues and get involved in public activities not only in cities, but also in regions. This app is dedicated to human rights education and activism. This is an interactive product in which volunteers (and perhaps, if you wish, even you) not only create various ideas on how to contribute to the improvement of the human rights situation in Lithuania, but also jointly implement various activities for which they find time, opportunities and desire. For good offers and/or completed tasks, each participant will have the opportunity to collect points, otherwise rainbows, which the Tolerant Youth Association will try to exchange for you, albeit small, but pleasant rewards.Rainbow Challenge is an app for schools tooRainbow Challenge clubs can be established in schools for active and civic-minded students who want to contribute to making Lithuanian schools more tolerant and safer places for students. Students who joined the "Rainbow Challenge" club, together with the teacher-curator, organize activism, education and support activities for the entire school community and thus fight against the spread of homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism and hatred towards the disabled and other socially vulnerable groups manifested in the school. The name "Rainbow Challenge" symbolizes the unity of schoolchildren and takes its inspiration from the rainbow as a natural phenomenon. In it, each color is unique and equally important. This is what the school aims for with this initiative, so that students with different social identities should feel together and be integrated, no group should feel inferior or disadvantaged in any other way. Rainbow Challenge clubs operate on the principle of student leadership, the students who belong to the club lead themselves, only they decide what club goals to set, what activities to carry out and what to focus on. Clubs may be exclusively activism, exclusively educational, or mutually supportive, and may combine two or all three of these functions. In this app, due to its flexibility and adaptability, we provide a space for students to get ideas for what to do at school and implement activities among themselves, not only in cooperation in the Rainbow Challenge club, but also independently, if such a club does not yet operate. For the opportunity to implement this initiative, the Association of Tolerant Youth and the Charity Support Fund FRIDA thank their partners and sponsors: the project "Rainbow Challenge" for LGBT+ rights and opportunities", which is part of the Active Citizens Fund, financed by the EEA financial mechanism. We also thank the program "Different, bet savas" sponsored by the Youth Affairs Agency.
